    1841 (May 14): Entire letter from Smyrna to Triest struck with straight line SMIRNA in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 1), disinfected at Semlin with circular cachet in black and near full red wax reseal "SIGIL. SANITATIS SEMLINENSIS". Face panel with tear but the seal rare so fine and the entire displays well.
