    Symi 1870 (Dec 7): Entire letter written in Symi sent unpaid to Trieste, struck on obverse with SMIRNE thimble datestamp (10/12) in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 10), rated '20' (soldi) due on receipt in blue crayon. Triest arrival (15/12) on reverse of a fine entire. Mail from the island of Symi normally transitted through Rhodes.
