    Austrian P.O. in Rhodes 1852 (Sept 26): Entire letter written from Symi, sent prepaid and bilingually addressed to Trieste, struck in transit with fine RHODUS / 1 OTTO. two line datestamp (Tchilinghirian fig. 573) with FRANCA below, both in black. Manuscript '12' (soldi) for Lloyd rate on reverse alongside Triest arrival in red (10/10). A fine and scarce entire that opens well for Exhibit display.
