    1872/73: 2 d. orange, perf. 12½ in a horizontal pair and 6 d. pale blue (2) used on large 1873 registered cover from Wanganui to Louth, Lincolnshire via Suez, endorsed "Per Book Post" and "Deeds Only" at left, tied by numeral "8" obliterators in black. Oval 'Registered / London' datestamp in red on front (Dec 31). Reverse with Wanganui (Oct 15) cds, Wellington cds and Louth arrival cds (Dec 31). Envelope faults as to be expected but a scarce usage.
