    1864/71: 1 s. yellow-green, a horizontal pair used on 1870 cover endorsed 'via San Francisco' to Toronto, Canada tied by bold strikes of 'Christchurch / C' duplexes in black (July 2). Handstruck "10" (cents) marking on front deleted in manuscript and replaced with "20cs." in ink, reverse with Bank safety label applied and tied by 'Auckland' cds (July 6) with Montreal and Toronto cds's (Aug 13) alongside. Top flap missing and both the stamps with defects but of splendid appearance and a rare usage. Cert. RPSL (2002, as SG 124).
