    1864: 1 s. green, wmk. NZ, rouletted 7 at Auckland, a horizontal pair with well defined vertical roulettes, used on quadruple rate 1865 cover from Auckland addressed to John Coutts Antrobus, Eton Hall, Congleton tied by numeral "1" obliterator in black of Auckland. The stamps in a fine bright shade with minor corner bend at right, reverse with faint despatch and 'Congleton' arrival cds (May 20) in black. Cover with two file folds and minor flap damage but a rare rate and a most unusual usage of the provisional roulettes in a multiple. Cert. RPSL (2006) Gi = £ 2'200 off cover.
