    1864: 1 s. green, wmk. NZ, imperforate with close to good margins and of fresh colour, used on 1866 cover to Wells, Somerset with 1864 6 d. red-brown, comb perf. 12½ at Auckland tied by numeral "1" obliterators in black with AUCKLAND despatch cds adjacent (June 30). Reverse with Wells arrival cds (Sept 15) in black. Flap with two opening tears and minor closed tear at top of face panel but a most attractive and scarce mixed imperf. / perf. franking. Cert. RPSL (2007).rnNote: The 6 d. paid the postage for under ½ ounce. The 1 s. adhesive paid the Late Fee.
