    1913: Somerset House 2 s. 6 d. dull reddish purple, an unused example in this resonant shade, overprinted SPECIMEN in black (Samuel type 22), trace of rub at base but otherwise fine, large part og. Very scarce, this stamp originated from a private record book of a former Inland Revenue official. Cert. BPA (2002).
