    Austrian Lloyd Postal Agency 1838 (Sept 23): Entire letter from Constantinople to Athens struck with fair "AGENZIA DEL LLOYD AUSTRIACO / Costantinopoli" handstamp in black. Greek framed 'Hyperthalassia' (Sea Post) marking well struck at left and rated '20' lepta to collect on arrival. Reverse with Piraeus and Athens datestamps (Sept 30) in black. A scarce and attractive entire: one of the earliest recorded usages of this rare marking.
