    1832 (March 10): Entire letter from Constantinople to Bordeaux, disinfected in transit at Semlin with rare complete impression of the SIGILLUM SANITATIS red wax seal and superb strike of equally scarce two line "Geräuchert vom Contumaz-Amte / en SEMLIN am 22 Mäarz 1832." cachet struck in black. 'Turquie' and 'AT' handstamps on obverse with framed 'Autriche / Par / Huningue' entry marking in black with '11' charge mark at left, manuscript '21' décimes due upon arrival.
