    Via Varna 1867/78: 5 soldi red and 10 kreuzer blue, mixed currency franking on 1871 cover endorsed 'Via Varna' from Constantinople to Vienna, each cancelled by wreathed CONSTANTINOPEL cds (23/6) in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 385). Reverse with 'Mariahilf / Wien' arrival (July 6). The 5 s. with rounded corner perf. and the 10 kr. with small closed tear at right, neither greatly detracting from the appearance of this rare combination franking. Cert. Ferchenbauer (2003).
