    Via Varna 1867/78: 5 s. red, single example and three horizontal pairs, all used on 1872 cover front endorsed 'via Varna' probably mailed from Constantinople to Paris, tied by three strikes of framed LETTERE ARIVATE / PER MARE / VARNA datestamp (3/7) in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 115). 'A./P.D.' in black and 'Avricourt' French entry mark in blue (July 8). Some peripheral aging but an impressive piece.
