    Recess by Narciso Desmadryl from Perkins Bacon Plates 1854 (Jan-Feb): 5 c. deep reddish-brown, a fine used four margined example with horizontal pair of Desmadryl 10 c. slate-blue, just touched to large margins on three sides, tied to 1854 cover from Concepcion to Valparaiso endorsed "por el N. Granada" (PSNC Steamer) by target handstamps in black. The cover carried at 1 ounce rate + Sea Postage of 5 centavos, with some staining and imperfections but a very scarce example of the 25 centavos rate. Cert.
