    Recess by Narciso Desmadryl from Perkins Bacon Plates 1854 (Jan-Feb): 5 c. deep reddish-brown, a horizontal strip of four with touched to huge margins, on 1854 second sheet of entire 1 ounce letter from Valparaiso to Santiago, tied by target handstamps in black. VALPARAISO cds in red at right (Feb 9) - a rare early usage of the issue. A delightful multiple and a most attractive cover. Cert.
