    Peru Steamship Navigation Company 1854 (Feb 28): Entire letter from Valparaiso to San Francisco (Gibb correspondence), struck with superb VAPOR BOGOTA / P handstamp in black (Doublet BOG 1, in use from June 1852), this being the latest recorded usage of this handstamp. Struck on arrival with '25' (US cents) due marking (fee for postage from Panama to US), internally dated upon receipt (April 2).
