    British P.O.'s 1861: Entire letter written at Tacna (Sept 22), mailed to New York and struck with ARICA double arc cds (Sept 23), two line 'PAID-TO / PANAMA' and PANAMA datestamp (Oct 7) all in black. Mailed most unusually via San Francisco with datestamp at left (Oct 26) in black and large 'SHIP' handstamp above. Docketing of receipt on reverse (Nov 18) and manuscript '32' (cents) due in blue crayon: thus the entire went 'via Panama' twice. A most unusual entire.
