    1865: 1 r. yellow, a fine horizontal pair used with 1866 4 r. red in a superb horizontal strip of five, on circa 1870 judicial cover to Ibarra all tied by dotted "3154" gros chiffres handstamps in black with "Quito / Franca" cds at right (July 2). Refolded but with weight notation '2 lbs. 12 ozs.' inside - correctly rated at 24 reales for 48 ounces. A rare and wonderful cover in superb quality.
