    1867: 5 c. red and 20 c. green, used on 1874 mourning envelope to San Francisco, USA tied by black mute handstamps with 'Valparaiso' despatch cds in red (Oct 31) alongside. Reverse with 'Callao' British P.O. cds of transit (Nov 13) in black. Three line PANAMA / TRANSIT (Nov 20) in black and the 5 c. also tied by "12" rate mark with circular "San Francisco / Steamship" cds at left (Dec 15) of arrival and marked at "22 / CENTS" due - the '12' being the British credit.
