    Overprinted ZULULAND 1888/1893: ½ d. vermilion, a used horizontal pair on 1895 cover to Durban tied by NKANDHLA / ZULULAND cds of despatch (March 30). Underpaid for the 2 d. rate and struck with circular "T" marking in black and "2d" circular charge marking (double the 1 d. deficiency), both being struck in Eshowe. The adhesives also tied by "Point / Natal" cds, reverse with "Eshowe / Zuluand" cds (April 1) and Durban arrival cds (April 2). Illustrated in the 'Postal Markings of Natal' on page 80.
