Celliers, perforated 12 1883 (April 5): 1 d. grey-black and 3 d. pale chestnut (3 examples) used on attractive 1884 cover from Kaap Goldfields (Kaapsche Hoop) to Kingston, Surrey tied by circular 'Z.A.R.' obliterators struck in violet with circular 'K. KOOP GOUDVELDEN' cds (Aug 25) in same ink. Reverse with 'Pretoria / Transvaal' transit in black (Aug 29), 'Cape Town / Cape Colony' cds (Sept 9) and Kingston on Thames arrival (Oct 1). Cover #72 in the Jorgensen census. A delightful and scarce cover.
