    Overprinted "V.R. / Transvaal" 1878 (April 15): New Printings on orange paper, 1 d. red on orange, imperforate, optd. Type 6, a used horizontal pair on small part piece, showing variety: "Overprint Double" on each stamp, lightly cancelled by Pretoria "1" numeral obliterators leaving the variety largely clear. Vertical crease at left and lower right corner with small tear in margin only but an extremely rare multiple and probably the sole such known. Cert. BPA (1968) Gi = unpriced used/unused = £ 7'500.
