    1877 (May): New Printings on coarse soft white paper, 1 d. brick-red, fine roulette 15½-16, optd. Type 4 in black, the unused vertical strip of five (the height of the pane), variety "Imperforate Horizontally x Rouletted", the most probably unique strip of five (the Gibbons listing comes from the strip of three in the David Crocker sale, lot 1224), one or two natural thin spots, fresh and very fine colour and superb large part og. A remarkable and extremely rare multiple. Cert. BPA (1976) Gi = unpriced.
