    "4" Surcharges 1877: "4" on 6 d. rose, surcharged Type 2c, used example on 1878 combination cover to Cincinatti, USA via London, tied by oval "2" numeral obliterator in black with WINBURG / O.V.STAAT despatch cds on reverse (April 27). Cape of Good Hope 1876 4 d. blue in a fine strip of three alongside (Gi. 30) tied by 'Cape Town / Cape Colony' datestamps (May 7) in black with "2½d." credit mark in red at left. 'London / Paid' transit cds in red (May 20) and reverse with 'New York / Paid All' (June 8) and Concinatti arrival cds in blue. A wonderful and extremely rare Transatlantic usage.
