    Overprinted 'Postage' by Keith & Co. 1869 (Aug 23): 3 d. blue, no wmk., perf. 14, optd. 'POSTAGE.' Type 7e, Second Setting, a used horizontal pair on 1869 cover addressed to 'Leribe Missionary Station, Orange Free State', and endorsed 'via Bethlehem' tied by numeral "1" obliterators in black. PIETERMARITZBURG / Crown / NATAL cds at left (Nov 2) of despatch. A scarce and attractive cover.rnrnNote: Cover addressed to Mrs Christina Coillard at Leribe (Basutoland, now Lesotho), wife of François Coillard (1834-1904), the couple were expelled from Leribe by the Orange Free State Government in 1864, being allowed back for a short time in 1869.
