    'Mafeking Besieged' Type 2 on Stamps of the Bechuanaland Protectorate 1900 (April 1): Surcharged 3 d. on 1 d. lilac, a used example variety "Surcharge Double" tied to small piece by MAFEKING / C.G.H. datestamp (May 11) in black, the surcharge over-lapping but not a bounce print.
