    1858: Rouletted 6 d. bright blue, 1859 perf. 1 s. blue and 2 s. dull bluish green on pale yellow paper, used on 1860 registered cover from Ballarat to Canton Graubrunden, Switzerland all tied by "5" numeral obliterators in black and by oval "Registered / London" transit datestamp in red (Oct 22). Front with "Registered / Ballarat" (July 30) in black and Melbourne transit in red (July 31) with straight line CHARGÉ in black. Reverse with Rate box, Zurich transit cds (Oct 25) and Chur cds in black. A marvellous and colourful franking paying the ½ ounce registered rate via Southampton, unrecorded in Ben Palmer's 'Pre-UPU Destination Mail of Victoria'.
