    1890/94: ½ d. deep green, 2½ d. carmine and 3 d. brown, wmk. Crown over Q, perf. 12½, all applied to small piece and handstamped 'SPECIMEN.' in violet by the Natal Post Office (Samuel type NA2) upon receipt from the UPU.
