    1880 (Aug 15): 4 d. grey-brown, Plate 17, wmk. Large Garter, lettered SG-SH / TG-TH, an unused block of four of fresh colour, two slightly blunted perfs. mentioned for full accuracy only and not affecting the delightful appearance, trivial bend on large part or unmounted og. This is the sole wing-margined multiple of the three blocks of four recorded in 'Surface Printed Stamps' by Galland & Louis, the largest block being a block of six ex Philbrick (1895) which has not been seen since and was probably split up.
