    1857/59: 6 d. light brown on white paper, the rare shade with large margins all round, used on 1860 cover to a Captain in the 37th Regiment in Calcutta, care of Wm. Spink & Co., tied by oval barred obliterator in black. Reverse with COLOMBO / POST PAID datestamp in red (Dec 9) and oval FORWARDED BY / L. K. KING & CO. / CALCUTTA Agent's cachet in blue with Calcutta cds adjacent (Jan 10, 1861) in red. Opening tear at top of envelope and the stamp with a horizontal crease but nevertheless rare. Cert.
