    1841: Entire letter to Syra struck with superb "LARISSA" (Type I) circular handstamp in blue with framed "Greece / Via / Lamia" handstamp adjacent. Reverse with LAMIA (Type II) datestamp (May 28) in blue-black, Piraeus cds (Type II), Athens cds in blue (Type III) and Syra (Type II) arrival. Toasted for disinfected at Lamia in transit and rated '40+80 = 120" lepta due to pay. Some acid ink faults but rare Hellas = € 880.
