Morelli, in the Guard of Honour of His Highness the Prince Camille of Tuscany, to his brother-in-law in Turin, struck with fine 'No. 4 / GRANDE ARMÉE' handstamp in red (Reinhardt = 500 pts). Rated '10' to pay in manuscript upon receipt.The letter written on the same day that the bridge over the River Beresina was destroyed after the French retreat from Moscow.
