    1864/77: 6 d. bright violet, a horizontal pair, right hand stamp with contemporary closed tear, used on 1881 cover to Hamilton, Bermuda tied by 'Cape Town / Cape Colony' barred oval "1" numerals (Dec 6). Obverse with '4' rate credit in manuscript red crayon and reverse with 'Hamilton / Bermuda' arrival cds (Jan 16, 1882).
