    1855/63: 1 s. bright yellow-green on white paper, a used pair with large margins all round and of fine fresh colour, used on 1859 entire letter from Cape Town to Wolverhampton endorsed 'pr. Phoebe Str. 22 Oct 1859' tied by light CGH obliterator in black with neat 'London / Paid' cds alongside in red (Nov 26). The stamps also tied by '1/8d.' rate split in red crayon manuscript. Reverse with CAPE TOWN / CAPE OF GOOD HOPE datestamp in red (Oct 22) and Wolverhampton cds in black (Nov 26).
