    Recess at the Santiago Post Office from Perkins Bacon plates - 'Estancos' 1856/61: 10 c. blue, wmk. pos. 2, the used horizontal pair showing "Printed on Both Sides" variety, in a deep shade with the reverse printing being approximately 3 mm. difference to the image on the front of the stamp. Scissor cut and margins somewhat truncated but very rare Gi = unlisted/Scott = $ 700+.rnrnProvenance: Collection Gerhard Blank, RL, Dec 1991, lot 1161.
