    French Post Offices 1876: Cover from Alexandria to Lozere, France franked by 1867 20 c. blue overlapping 40 c. orange tied by '5080' gros chiffres with 'Alexandrie / Egypte' cds below (May 20). Underpaid and struck with framed AFFRANCHISEMENT / INSUFFISANT in black. Circular 'Poss. Angl. / Amb. Mars.' entry marking (March 28) and taxed '7' décimes in manuscript on arrival. Small flap faults but scarce.
