    Emblems Issue 1858 (June 1): 4 d. rose on smooth vertically laid paper, rouletted 5½-6½, a fine vertical pair with single Woodblock 1854 6 d. orange, all used on 1858 cover to Hamburg tied by oval "1/V" obliterators of Melbourne in black, with London 'Paid' cds oin red (Oct 18) and manuscript '8' (pence) split rate accountancy charge in manuscript. A fresh and fine cover - the earliest stamped cover known to Hamburg, unrecorded by Ben Palmer in 'Pre-UPU Destination Mail'.rnrnNote: Correctly rated at 1/2d.per ½ ounce via Southampton.
