Campbell & Fergusson 1854 (July 6): 1 s. blue, imperforate, a fine used example in a deep shade and showing portion of adjoining stamp at left, used on 1855 cover to Leith, Scotland endorsed 'per Argo' tied by oval "1/V" obliterator with 'Melbourne / Crown / Victoria' datestamp (Jan 8) adjacent. Manuscript 'd.6' (pence) on front and reverse with London and Edinburgh cds's (March 18) in red. File fold well away from adhesive, a fine cover.rnNote: The "Argo" of the General Screw Steam Shipping Co. arrived at Southampton with Gold dust & Jewels valued at £ 310'918, together with 138 cases of material for the Paris Exhibition.
