    1870/71: 2 d. blue-green, wmk. '2', perf. 12 by J. Walch & Sons of Hobart, six examples in two strips of three used on 1871 cover to Newcastle On Tyne all cancelled by "10" numeral obliterators with 'Torquay' despatch datestamp (May 17) at lower left. Reverse with diamond 'POST OFFICE / LAUNCESTON / Crown' datestamp in red (May 18) and Newcastle arrival cds (July 17) in black.
