    Recess by Perkins Bacon 1855 (Oct): 6 d. deep blue, wmk. Large Star, imperforate, a fine four margined example used on 1858 cover to Dunfermerline, Scotland tied by "55" numeral obliterator with corresponding 'Strathalbyn / South Australia' despatch cds (Sept 5) in blue at left. Reverse with Adelaide cds in blue (Sept 7) and Stirling and Dunfermerline cds's (Nov 15). A fine and scarce cover.
