    1867: De La Rue Die Proofs (2) for the 10 d. value in black on white glazed cards, the completed Die, struck with AFTER HARDENING and dated 'May 2, 1867' in black and a similar, slightly darker Proof in black, struck before the Die was sent to New South Wales in March 1870 and dated at upper left 'Jan 10, 1870' in black. A fine and rare pair.
