    1708 (Feb-April): Entire letter from Cairo to Venice, endorsed at base 'Con la Barda. DGC'  (Whom God preserve), with complete contents bemoaning the problems of doing business in Egypt, with manuscript '4' and docketed on arrival (June 1708) on flap. A fine and scarce very early entire written over a two month period. Full English translation accompanies the lot.
