    1838: Cover from Jaffna to the Wesleyan Missionary Society in London endorsed 'via Bombay', struck on despatch with JAFFNA and POST PAID handstamps in red. Reverse with London arrival cds (Nov 12) in black and obverse with manuscript '2/6' to pay at lower left. A few minor imperfections but a scarce cover.
