    Ionian Islands under German Occupation 1943 (Oct 22): Black framed 'Greece / 2.X.43' Overprint on Italy 25 c. green, 50 c. violet and Airmail 50 c. brown, each in vertical blocks of forty (4 x 10) with 25 c. marginal at baese, the other two values being sheet corner marginal with requisition numbers in margin at right. The 25 c. and Airmail 50 c. blocks each with one stamp showing "Overprint Sideways" variety, the 50 c. block with corner stamp showing "Inverted Overprint" variety; largely fresh and fine multiples, occasional tone spot on large part and mostly unmounted original gum. Very scarce. Signed Orestis Vlastos Hellas 2+3+4 = € 5'600/Sassone = € 4'600+.
