    1813 (June 27): Entire letter from Dresden endorsed 'Service Militaire' at top and further endorsed at left 'Le Baron D'Empire, 1er Chirurgien de la Grande Armée / Larrëy', addressed to the Principal Surgeon of 1st Corps d'Armée in Mayence (Mainz) and re-addressed to Magdebourg, struck on despatch with 'No. 19 / GRANDE-ARMÉE' in black (Reinhardt = 500 pts) and cancelled at Mainz in transit with 'BAU SÉDENTAIRE / GRANDE-ARMÉE' in black (Reinhardt = 750 pts). The entire signed by Larrëy inside and with two arrows removed from face panel but rare. Cert. Robineau (2005).rnProvenance: Collection J. Senechal.
