    Gouadeloupe 1873: General colonial issue Napoleon lauré 30 c. brown in a block of four with good to enormous margins all round showing parts of the stamps on the left and two examples of 1871 Cérès 10 c. bistre, also fresh and fine with large margins, all tied by lozange obliterator to outer letter sheet to Marseille with "POINTE A PITRE .. AVRIL 73" cds and framed PD in black as well as "COLONIES FRA. V. ANGL. 14 MAI 73" cds in blue alongside. Addressee's name crossed out, but an exceptional and appealing presentation of the double weight rate of 140 c. in the tariff of October 1864 via a British vessel. Yvert not listed.
