    1853/93: Collection of covers/cards (37 items), largely from French P.O. in Salonique with imperforate frankings from 1853 issue with 40 c., 50 c., 60 c., 80 c., 1 fr. and 1 fr. 60 c. rates, 1862 issue covers at 40 c., 50 c. and 1 fr. 20 c. rates all with pearled 'Salonique' datestamp, 1853 80 c. on cover from Smyrne, 1862 80 c. on cover from Yokhama (signed Scheller), 1876 interesting cover from Bordeaux with 1871/75 15 c. readdressed in Hull with Great Britain 2½ d. mauve (signed Calves) another readdressed cover with France and Italy adhesives etc.
