    1849/1900: Collection hundreds primarily used stamps in varying quality incl. 1849/50 Cérès  15 c. green (3), 40 c. orange (4) and 1 fr. carmine, reprints on cover and essays, Presidence, Napoleon with a large variety of cancellations, Gros chiffre numerals from PO's in the Levant incl. Beyrouth on 5 fr., and the Far East, private Susse perforations, Laureated '10' on 10 c. bistre, Napoleon lauré 5 fr. grey (3), Bordeaux with diff. types and reports, red imprimé datestamps, railway cancellations, type Sage used & unused, postage due up to 5 fr. An interesting lot.
