1855 (Jan): 1 s. pale red-brown, first printing in a very rosy shade, a superb used example with large margins all round and portion of adjoining stamp at top, cancelled by scarce "14" numeral obliterator of Marradong in red. Exceptionally scarce, for a similar example (although not as fine as this, but in the salmon shade) and similarly cancelled, see the John Gartner sale, lot 256. Rare. Certs.
