    1854: 4 d. deep dull blue, a magnificent unused block of twelve (4 x 3) with large margins all round and small portions of adjoining stamps at base, in a deep resonant shade, (Group A), positions 141-144/161-164/181-184, and thus an important plating multiple as position 141 (Row 8, Stamp 1) was an "Inverted Frame" position and thus this represents a rare multiple from Printing Stone 2A. The block of rich colour, with horizontal scissor cut in margin between positions 164 and 184 and vertically creased in margin only between third and fourth vertical rows. Minor staining and large part browned original gum. A splendid, very rare and important multiple Gi = £ 4'500.
