    Lithographed by J. S. Campbell & Fergusson, Melbourne 1854/57: Half-Length 3 d. indigo blue on poorer quality paper, Stone D, Ninth printing, positions 1-2, huge margins all round on each with portions of adjoining stamps at base and at right, used on 1856 entire letter to Egremont, Cumberland endorsed 'per First Ship', cancelled by circular "2" numeral obliteration of Geelong in black. Reverse with 'Geelong / Crown / Victoria' despatch (April 14), Melbourne transit and Whitehaven (July 18) and Egremont cds's. Obverse with AUSTRALIAN / PACKET / LIVERPOOL / PAID datestamp in brown and '5d.' accountancy handstamp in red. A fine and most attractive cover.
